Everest Max - the longest climb

Friday 29th January 2010  7.30pm

Frensham Heights School - GU10 4EA

Please Note: Any tickets purchased online after midday Tuesday 26th will not be posted out and will be available for collection on the evening

In 2006 the Everestmax Team completed the ultimate ascent, from the lowest point on Earth to the Highest. Their journey lasted 6 months and took them to every extreme.

The Longest Climb is the utterly compelling account of Dominic Faulkner's expedition from the Dead Sea to the peak of Everest. Dominic and his team, EverestMax, were the first ever to make this journey – a dangerous one, both politically and personally.

The journey is brought to life by Dominic Faulkner, Everest summiteer and expedition leader. Be prepared for a 2 hour spectacular visual experience using personal accounts, stunning photographs and film footage.

The team’s success occurs against the backdrop of one of the worst years on Everest, during which 13 people died.

During the evening there will be a charity auction of outdoor gear/equipment (a list will be downloadable from here nearer the time)
